Trivia / Rainbow Ruby

• Banned in China: In Sweden, the season 1 episode 5 (or episode 3 part 1) "At Your Service", where Ruby becomes a restaurant waitress, is absent from SVT's airings. Accordingly, that particular episode was not included on HBO Max across the Nordics.
• Cross-Regional Voice Acting: The English version has voice actors from both Vancouver (including Shannon Chan-Kent and Brian Drummond) and Los Angeles (Colleen O'Shaughnessey credited as Olivia Charles and Johnny Yong Bosch).
• For some reason, in Mainland China, the series is considered to be a full domestic production, and only Chinese nationals are credited in the Mainland Mandarin Chinese version. This is typical with most of international co-productions that involve a Chinese company.
• Some overlooked mistakes include:
  • Some episodes take place during the night or cloudy day, but the "Rainbow Village, here we come!" stock scene still features sunny outside.
  • In "Tummy Trouble", there is a visible black frame in one scene.
• Denmark is the latest country in the Nordics to have the series premiered when it was added to HBO Max and Netflix across the region. It is yet to be premiered/released in Iceland. It was premiered in other Nordic countries around 2016 and 2017.
• The opening and closing themes are usually sung by the same voice as Ruby. But in Finnish version, the themes are sung by an adult voice actress who definitely did not voice Ruby.
