- Creator Breakdown: Book Burner was the result of tension between then-former drummer Brian Harvey getting replaced in the band. His personal issues had affected the band which led to heavy turmoil and eventually his termination, an entire situation that almost caused the band to end completely. Book Burner ended up having music written by three drummers (Harvey, temporary replacement Dave Witte, and eventual permanent replacement Adam Javis), which Scott Hull comments as being a timeline of sorts of the issues they were going through. He's also stated that the album going back to its grindcore roots with shorter and faster songs was a bit of a Take That! to Harvey, who didn't want to do faster songs anymore around the Phantom Limb era.
- Missing Episode: the 2015 reissue of Prowler in the Yard omits the song "Evacuating Heaven": The vocal tracks were missing and they didn't want to re-record them.
