• I Knew It!: Zancrowe gets a few of the future points about Food Wars! correct such as Akira being the winner of the Autumn Election, Erina actually respecting and recognising Megumi’s ability and Takumi refusing to take back his mezzaluna after Soma got it back and vowing to earn it himself after defeating Subaru and then Soma.
• Schedule Slip: Zancrowe is infamous for the sporadic updates of these stories.
• What Could Have Been: It has quite a few examples:
  • For chapter 4 of Nouvelle, Zancrowe originally intended to directly continue the scene from chapter 3 where Erina would have called security to get Soma thrown out but cuts it out due to it playing up Erina’s temper far too much.
  • The basic premise of Classique was originally meant to be Azami teaming up with Asahi and his Noirs to assault Tootsuki Academy, but Zancrowe's own apathy towards the last arc of the manga / anime and the Noirs abysmal performance and characterization therein altered the plans, thereby allowing for the introduction of the Neo-Noirs: Dove Dillinger, Julius Bedlam, and Ashitaro Sadatsuka.
  • Loren Frechette, Azami's other student and Dove's little brother, meant as a mole for Tootsuki Academy on their behalf, was originally written to be a girl. He was changed into a boy late in the story's conception, as to make him different from his older sister Dove.
