Sharing just one name isn't not worthy of Names The Same, especially when they're common names.

* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: The anime was licensed in English early on, but spent a good while in limbo for US fans. Crunchyroll hosted it for streaming, but the rights expired. Bandai was originally going to release the show on video, but cancelled it due to financial troubles. For a time, the only way to enjoy the series legally with an English translation was buying from Madman Entertainment, an Australian company which licensed the series for english for Australia and New Zealand on streaming and DVD. Funimation licensed the anime for North America in November 2016, released it sub-only on February 7, 2017, and with an English dub in July 2019. Both eventually become (once again) available on Crunchyroll.

* NamesTheSame: Sakamoto-san and Sakurai-sensei did not create the ''VideoGame/{{Metroid}}'' and ''Franchise/{{Kirby}}'' series, respectively.
* NoExportForYou: Bandai was originally going to release this show in the US, but has since cancelled it due to financial troubles. Crunchyroll used to host it for streaming, but the streaming rights expired too. The only way to enjoy the series legally for English-speaking Japanese non-speakers is buying from Madman Entertainment, an Australian company which licensed the series for english for Australia and New Zealand on streaming and DVD. Whether an actual English dub will ever be made is unknown, though with the amount of Japanese puns that wouldn't translate well, it seems unlikely. Eventually averted when Funimation licensed the anime in November 2016. It was released sub-only on February 7, 2017, with an English dub slated for a July 2019 release.
* NoDubForYou: Funimation originally released the series without an English dub due to the fact the series sold poorly in Japan and Indonesian/Malay language references would be very hard to translate properly in English. It would later be averted where it'll be given an English dub in 2019 (primarily due to the fandom popularity).
