• Out of Order: This episode was supposed to be the debut of Qilin, Sabine's Akumatized form who appears in the following episode, "Dearest Family". However, the latter was aired several months before this one was.
• Technology Marches On: With the rise of services such as Apple Pay, Sabine could’ve simply paid the fine using her phone, avoiding most of the episode’s conflict.
• Word of God: Thomas Astruc has said on Twitter that the reason Sabine was given so much trouble about her bus ticket was because of racism. Nothing is explicitly said about it in the episode.
