Trivia / Mass Effect: Deception

• Vaporware: While a revised version of the book was promised, it never actually materialized, presumably due to the fact that it would have required essentially rewriting the story from scratch. In fact, the novel series based on the original Mass Effect trilogy was shelved altogether in favor of producing a novel series based on Mass Effect: Andromeda... which was itself canned after only three novels in the wake of Andromeda proving a critical and commercial failure.
