  • His entrance theme, "Ultra Soul" by B'z. In fact most of his themes were songs by B'z. It also leads to a funny moment whenever he faces Minoru Tanaka, who is also a fan of B’z and uses their songs as his themes, as their entrances will have B’z songs play one after another.
  • He also used Warrant's "We Will Rock You" in his early RINGS appearances.
• Role-Ending Misdemeanor: Naruse, who was feeling discontent with his booking towards the end of his NJPW tenure, left a couple of months after a match in which he vented by brutalizing Yujiro Takahashi for real and breaking his jaw, in a reminiscence of his master Akira Maeda's beef with Riki Choshu. It's unclear whether his contract was not renewed due to the incident or he was already leaving and just chose to finish some unknown business with Takahashi.
