  • Celebrity Break-Up Song: "Romeo and Juliet", a song in which Mark Knopfler recalls his failed romantic relationship with fellow musician Holly Vincent, after he found out about an interview in which she described her time with him in a very blunt and offhanded way. Hence the line "now you just say, 'oh, Romeo, yeah, you know I used to have a scene with him.'"
  • Referenced by...: In I, Tonya, "Romeo and Juliet" underscores the montage showing Tonya and Jeff's budding but extremely dysfunctional relationship.
  • What Could Have Been: The band penned a Title Track for the album but ultimately left it on the cutting room floor, never giving it an official release. They ended up reusing the song's guitar riff for a piece that did make it onto the album, "Expresso Love".
