• Actor Leaves, Character Dies: Alice's actress Hersha Parady asked to leave the show and move on to other projects. Since they couldn't have Alice Put on a Bus and still keep her husband and son around, they decided to kill her off, and made one of the most memorable, and tragic deaths in the show.
• Creator's Favorite Episode: Hersha Parady always said her death was her favorite scene to film, despite this being her goodbye from the show before she moved on to other projects. So much so that she kept attending ruenions of the cast carrying a doll baby, referencing Alice and Baby Adam's demise in the next few years.
