• You Look Familiar: E. J. André makes his first appearance in the show here as an old gun seller who sells M. Edwards the rifle he presents John Jr. with. He'd reappear in the Season 2 finale as the elder Matthew Simms who intends to buy the Ingalls' farm after they make plans to move, and in other episodes as different characters.
