• What Could Have Been: Right when the series got cancelled, ghostwriter PettyPunk opened up a forum on the series' Discord server and during a Q&A session, posted the final list of killers and survivors:
  • Gonta and Himiko are killed by Angie, who takes Korekiyo's place as a sacrificial serial killer.
  • Toko is killed by Akane following the 'threatening loved ones' motive.
  • Leon and Kaito are killed by Tenko, who takes Toko's place as Genocider (targeting degenerate males).
  • Mahiru (who starts a relationship with Nekomaru) is killed and briefly impersonated by Tsumugi, who goes Yandere after Celeste breaks up with her for her clinginess.
  • Taka and Maki are killed by Kirumi and Nekomaru due to the sickness motive.
  • Shuichi is killed by Kazuichi, who's manipulated and killed by Celestia.
  • Sonia is killed by the Ultimate Impostor, who suspected her of being the Mastermind.
  • Hiro (The Mole and Token Evil Teammate) is killed by Mukuro after Junko uncovers him.
  • Keebo performs a Heroic Sacrifice in the final trial.
  • The Masterminds are Kaede (who sacrificed her twin sister to work behind the scenes) and Kokichi (who actually killed Shuichi and reveals that in the final trial).
  • Chiaki, Sakura, Ibuki, Junko (who genuinely isn't evil), Miu, Mikan, Aoi, Peko, Kyoko, Nagito, Fuyuhiko, Hajime, Mondo, Chihiro, Rantaro, Korekiyo, Byakuya, and Gundham make it to the end of the game.
  • The final pairings are Chiaki/Hajime, Ibuki/Mondo, Junko/Fuyuhiko, Miu/Chihiro, Mikan/Nagito, Aoi/Rantaro, and Peko/Korekiyo.
  • The title was a hint to Nagito becoming the Hope representative of the story, after Mikan helps him recover mentally.
