• Approval of God: On being told that the GLOW (2017) series had a similar character to her ('Liberty Belle'), she watched it and "loved her". The resemblance was just a coincidence, however, and Betty Gilpin (Liberty Belle's actress) had no idea about the Lacey Evans persona.
• Cast the Expert: Naturally, as a former Marine, the repackaged military gimmick she returned with in 2022 was something she found more natural.
• What Could Have Been: Her pairing with Ric Flair was meant to lead to her winning the Raw Women's Championship during the lead-up to WrestleMania 37, where she was most likely to have a match with Ric's daughter Charlotte, but Evans was found to be pregnant and was put on hiatus. She was also ready to return six weeks after giving birth but WWE didn't bring her back for an entire year.
• Writer Revolt: Her Southern Belle gimmick came about because she was told by the higher-ups to start dressing more "like a Superstar" and she responded by going to a thrift store, buying a long dress, vintage pearls and red lipstick. They then responded "we love this new character", and she just went with it.
