Not trivia

* ShoutOut: Genesta and Lolotte are the names of fairies from two obscure fairy tales that appear in Andrew Lang's ''Green Fairy Book''. Genesta is named after the good fairy from ''Heart of Ice'' while Lolotte is named after the fairy from ''Prince Vivien and the Princess Placida''. Rosella and her mother Valanice are named after Rosanella and her mother Balanice from ''Rosanella'', another story in the same book. All three stories were originally written in the 18th century by the Comte de Caylus. All four names double as a GeniusBonus for those acquainted with obscure fairy tales.
** Interestingly enough, unlike her namesake, the Lolotte in ''Prince Vivien and the Princess Placida'' is not evil.
** One of of the companion gamebooks mentions Mannikin, the protagonist of ''Heart of Ice'', saying that long ago Genesta raised him and assisted him on his travels.

Added "Keep Circulating the Tapes"

Added DiffLines:

* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: Of all the various versions of the game that were created, only SCI version 1.006.004 has been re-released digitally and through the numerous compilations issued over the years. The original SCI release (with the separate, more detailed day and night screens), the AGI version and various ports to other platforms have, to date, never been officially reissued.

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: In Sierra's promo 1987 catalogue, the cover art for the game was quite different. It showed Lolotte ripping the magic talisman from Genesta's neck. The background was some sort castle, maybe Lolotte's, which is odd, since in-game, Genesta said her talisman was stolen when she was strolling in the woods.

* KillerApp: The game was one of the first to support sound cards, making them a must-have for PC gamers. Both the Ad Lib and Roland MT-32 became de facto standards for game music in the late '80s and early '90s.
