  • Development Hell: The first trailer for this game came out in 2015 and the game came out in May of 2018. Needless to say, it's been a long time coming.
  • Digital Piracy Is Okay: If the game detects you have pirated the game, this plays, parodying the famous "Piracy is Stealing" ads. • Dueling Works: Alongside Project Arrhythmia, another bullet-hell about dodging geometric objects moving to the rhythm with a Visual Novel styled story mode and a Level Editor. Both games were developed without knowing about one another until later on.
  • Fan-Work Ban: According to their FAQ page, Berzerk Studios only allows fan-games - specifically, Just Shapes & Beats level editors - if they aren't shared with others. However, showcasing creations in a video without distributing the editor or levels themselves is fine.
  • Referenced by...: Project Arrhythmia has a level complete message where one of its main characters, A-Tan, wonders if she should try out the "cyan nanobots" again if you do poorly.
