Trivia / Jungle Juice

• God Does Not Own This World: Like other YLab works such as Get Schooled or Study Group, while Hyeong Eun is the author, Jungle Juice is a property of YLab.
• Schedule Slip: Season 2 was originally planned to be released "Early 2023", as stated in the epilogue chapter of Season 1, with an instagram story by Hyeong Eun in March later saying that it would come out in Spring. A final update from JUDER came out on May 31st/June 1st, explaining how reformatting Jungle Juice from down-scrolling to page-flipping form for the paperback release ended up not being done until April 10th, as it turned out to be equivalent to recompositioning the entire season. As such, while Hyeong Eun had the story for Season 2 prepared, JUDER had gotten barely a month of rest during the 10 months of hiatus. The release date for Season 2 was set to "within August 10"- the 1 year anniversary of the hiatus.
• What Could Have Been: In terms of design-
  • JUDER experimented with Suchan's wings being a lot larger compared to the body like in actual dragonflies, but were ultimately shrunken in order to make them less unwieldy.
  • Huijin's hair could have been black on top and dark red underneath with how roaches are more brown, but it got changed to being pink underneath in order to brighten up her design.
  • Hyeseong's prototype design from Hyeong Eun is practically unrecognizable from his current self- with the bowl cut, glasses, and what looks to be a violin case, it's no wonder why Dohwa would be picking on him...
  • Hyeong Eun's design of Dohwa lacked the spikey teeth, and had her tail be far thicker than what it is currently. Her hair was also shorter, and she seemed to have less curves than Huijin, unlike current where they could practically share a wardrobe.
