• Missing Episode: The series ran five days a week from 1965-96 (with occasional breaks) for over 3,500 episodes, of which fewer than half survive in their entirety. Its spinoff Jackanory Playhouse ran from 1972-85 for 59 episodes, of which 47 survive.
