  • Nanci Chambers will appear in several episodes as the much reviled Lt. Singer, but in this episode she plays a Sunday Post reporter who turns out to be an assassin hired to kill the Romanian princess. The reporter, Megan O'Hara, clearly named after Terence O'Hara, who directed seventeen other JAG episodes, and many episodes of NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles, and several other shows.
  • Michael Des Barres is King Josif in this episode. He will appear in a later episode as a record producer who almost forces a Marine to choose between deploying with his unit and fulfilling his record contract. He will also appear in one NCIS episode. And because NCIS: Los Angeles crossed over with Hawaii Five-O which crossed over with the MacGyver (2016), and Michael Des Barres has appeared in both the original MacGyver (1985) and the reboot, he's an example of one actor playing multiple rôles throughout the so-called "Lenkov-verse."
