• The Cast Showoff: Jackson Antunes showed off his singing and skills at playing the guitar a few occasions when Miguel sings to Isaura.
• Casting Gag: Rubens De Falco and Norma Blum played Leoncio and his wife Malvina in the original 1976 telenovela. Rather fittingly, they play Leoncio's parents 30 years later.
