Trivia / Invisible Touch

  • Cut Song: The tracks "Feeding the Fire", "I'd Rather Be You", and "Do the Neurotic" were recorded during the album's sessions and were considered for inclusion on the record, only to be relegated to B-sides.
  • Rarely Performed Song: "Anything She Does" has only rarely shown up in the band's setlists over the years, most prominently being omitted from the Invisible Touch tour. In the companion documentary Visible Touch, Tony Banks explained that this is because of the song's heavy reliance on sampled horns and synth bass, which makes it prohibitively difficult to play on-stage.
  • What Could Have Been: Tony Banks put together eight different variations of the Title Track; the one the band ultimately picked was the "most random" variation.
  • Working Title: "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight" was originally written under the name "Monkey/Zulu".
  • Writing by the Seat of Your Pants: The album's songs were pieced together from improvisational jam sessions.
