• Distanced from Current Events: The episode was originally supposed to air September 14, 2001, along with "FBI Warning of Doom", but due to the then-recent 9/11 attacks, which happened three days before its supposed air date, it got delayed to March 29, 2002. Nickelodeon also removed a scene where the Statue of Liberty is shown in flames and asked the team to replace it with a more, suitable scene instead. Word of God himself says that he liked the new version better since he doesn't like adding a real-life city in Invader Zim.
