- Channel Hop: The show aired on NBC for two seasons before moving to UPN for seasons 3 and 4. The final 6-episode season aired on First-Run Syndication.
- Hostility on the Set: RuPaul stated that his guest appearance on the show was not a positive experience, describing LL Cool J as combative and cold towards him and even threatening to assault him. Ironically, Ru played a friend of Marion's from high school who reveals that he's now a Drag Queen, and Marion learns to respect his friend's career choice, meaning LL learned absolutely nothing from his own show.
- You Look Familiar: Alfonso Ribeiro guest starred as Carlton Banks in season 1 before being cast as a regular in season 3 as Dr. Maxwell Stanton, who's basically a grown-up Carlton Banks.
