Trivia / Hey! Jake and Josh

Go To

  • Attention Deficit Creator Disorder: Jake has his fingers in a lot of pies. In addition to all the shows listed on the main page, he's also a host on SPECTRE and Hard Reboot, edits Jemjammer and Super Sentai Bros, and is a recurring guest on several other podcasts.
  • Production Posse: The main two, along with Shannon and Alan, have cultivated a very wholesome family of podcasters and content creators, many of whom collaborate with each other. Here is a spreadsheet that lays out most of the interactions. Notable associated acts include:
    • Matt Hoadley, who in addition to guesting on Pokemon World Tour United and Cool Kids Table, hosts Hard Reboot with Jake and Alan, Lost Library with Alan and Joe Hadfield (which also featured Shannon as a guest), Forging Worlds with Alan , and Fifth Draw Wild—the latter of which has featured guest appearances from Jake, Josh, Alan, Shannon, and nearly every other person in this list.
    • Sky Ertl has made guest appearances on Pokemon World Tour United, GaSCast, Morphin' Grid, Fifth Draw, and The Home for Wayward OCs. He also co-hosts Pop Culture Failure with a different Jake, on which Alan, Matt, and Jake have all been guests.
    • Riley Hopkins has made guest appearances on Pokemon World Tour United, Fifth Draw Wild, and The Home for Wayward OCs. They've also run separate actual plays for Interstitial; one on a dedicated feed and one on Lost Library. Furthermore, they host Bed, Bath, and BIONICLE with a (begruding) Jo, and Digimondays with Nora Blake (who's also appeared in the Lost Library Interstitial game and made a guest appearance on Fifth Draw Wild.
    • Jake's brother Scoot has appeared as a guest on Pokemon World Tour, Pokemon World Tour United, Morphin' Grid, Fifth Draw Wild, and Hard Reboot.
    • Benny is a regular guest at the end of each season of Morphin' Grid, where he breaks down the MVP data to give Jake an existential crisis. He also hosts his own podcast, Eurigar's Forge of Creation, on which Jake was the inaugural guest.
  • What Could Have Been: Their first idea was a wrestling podcast called Botch Spot. They made a few episodes and posted them to Facebook, but it never took off. Thus their official first podcast is The Morphin Grid.
