• One-Steve Limit:
  • In Lost Tales 1, Muriel is the name of both the former mayor's late wife and the dragon. This, however, is not a coincidence; it's sort of an interspecies Dead Guy Junior. In Lost Tales 2, Brent the hunter is searching for a cure for his ill friend, who is also named Muriel. Still a subversion, because that's still the dragon; however, this is a plot point which goes nowhere and is possibly meant to be a Sequel Hook.
  • Played straight with Sagard, which is the name of a character in both Lost Tales 1 and Lost Tales 2, and there's nothing to suggest they might be the same person. One is a pirate; the other is a deposed mayor.
