Trivia / Hercules (1983)

Go To

  • Hostility on the Set: Lou Ferrigno and Sybil Danning got along poorly during the shooting. When Danning went on the tour to promote the film, she let her dislike of Ferrigno be known to anyone who interviewed her. She claimed that he had her role switched from love interest to villain and subsequently reduced due to their differences.
  • Wag the Director: Lou Ferrigno was against the initial script that he was given because he wanted it to be more family-friendly, in particular since it apparently originally included copious amounts of sex and female nudity due to its pulp style. Director Luigi Cozzi claimed that at one point, Ferrigno threw out the script and told producer Menahem Golan: "I asked for a movie for kids with Hercules, and here he is getting a blowjob!"
