• Ascended Fanon: During the Attack of the Christmas Presents event, the short story A Holly Jolly Holiday is mentioned. However, the TV special from the story is renamed "Sugar Cookie Speedway Zone," which was a joke nickname referring to Sonic the Hedgehog given to the story by this fan recap on the website Point Horror.
• Milestone Celebration: They made the Horrific Anniversary to tie into the 30th anniversary of Goosebumps.
• Official Fan-Submitted Content: A contest was held around when the game started, where fans could submit their orginal monster designs and they would be put in the game. The winning designs were used for Madame Doom and The Sleepmaster, introduced in the Valentine Night Fever event.
• Promoted Fanboy: Let's Player and fan Grimokan was brought on to help design some of the events, most notably Shop Til You Drop...Dead!. Later, the character of Jack-O in the Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid event is based on him.
