Trivia / Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

• Sequel Gap: Future Soldier is somewhat uniquely at opposite ends of two different five-year gaps in mainline Ghost Recon games, capping off one from 2007's Advanced Warfighter 2 and beginning another one that ended with 2017's Wildlands.
• What Could Have Been: The build of Future Soldier shown at E3 2010 is almost nothing like the final game, featuring a completely different interface, level design and more overtly futuristic elements such as exoskeletons and shoulder-mounted rocket launchers. However, negative fan reception and Ubisoft's thinking that this version strayed too far from the rest of the series lead to it being scrapped and the game being revamped.
