• Dueling Works: With XCOM: Chimera Squad. Gears Tactics clearly takes inspiration from the Firaxis-developed XCOM games, so the surprise announcement and close release of Chimera Squad just four days before Gears Tactics probably gave the game a bigger immediate rival than it would've liked.
