• Creator Breakdown: The reason the band took their hiatus in 2004 was from the sheer mental and physical exhaustion from how quickly they went from being a local act to record label darlings (keep in mind, they got their first recording contract when they were all in high school), and they feared that growing up with that big of a public image was dangerous, especially since Max Collins was becoming increasingly dependent on alcohol.
