• Actor-Shared Background: Shin's voice actor (Takuya Mizoguchi) was also a child actor in TV dramas and movies.
• Production Posse: The whole main cast ends up as this in other series; DearDream sings both the OP and ED themes for Working Buddies!, which starred Junya and Shin's seiyuu as the leads, while both DearDream and KUROFUNE voiced the bit characters.
• Write What You Know: Due to the franchise's status as a 2.5D (later 5D) project, a few of the plots referenced in the anime are based off the voice actors' experience as DearDream. Most notably Episode 9 of season one which is based off the mall tour the real life DearDream did earlier in the year. Episode 10's plot was brought to the writers by Shin's voice actor, as the writers were stuck at that time and he thought that the real life scenario would make for a good plot.
