• Doing It for the Art: Dorian has never been signed to any sort of distributor or even started their own for the sake of doing so. Everything they've created - their videos, their music, and even their national tour - has been self-funded, self-published and credited exclusively to their own name, all for the sake of complete, uncompromising artistic liberty.
• Harsher in Hindsight: "Mind Body Problem," a song about the mind and body feeling disconnected. The music video deconstructs ideas of femininity, pairing feminine costume with grotesque nudity and disorienting visuals. This song came out just before Dorian came out as genderfluid, and shortly after they began presenting more androgynous, so it's easier to see now that the song is about their own gender dysphoria.
