The Mutha Nature trailer at the end was going to be available for people to buy a DVD of, but this fell through due to Universal not wanting to pay Dwayne Johnson royalties.
The entire idea behind the attraction was recycled from a proposed concept for an indoor coaster made back in the '90s, which, just like this ride, would've involved guests being on a disaster movie set and being led by a manic film director (a role that Universal considered casting Jim Carrey in).
Trivia pertaining to the show:
Acting for Two: Twins Ben and Lisa are played by one male child actor (with occasional help from a life-size puppet).
