Trivia / Devil Beater

• Newbie Boom: Experienced one early in its lifetime due to it being promoted to the Featured section of ROBLOX's website.
• Role-Ending Misdemeanor: DeadDang's prominence as a key member of the Devil Beater community and development was submarined in mid-2019 after an extensive document describing in great detail an extremely sexually abusive behavior pattern and the damage it caused was released to the public.
• What Could Have Been: Three words: The Empire Arc. In the Empire Arc, Team Varia was to team up with an enigmatic new faction called the "Pocket Dimension". The arc would have chronicled both teams' attempts at retrieving one of the artifacts and helping the Pocket Dimension locate and/or kill off their former colleagues. Although it was eventually booted out of the canon after a lengthy period of Development Hell and discontent from its own writer, the Empire Arc would've packed an intense plot and plenty of new, well-written characters in the span of over twenty acts.
• Game Mod: Following the update that forced all ROBLOX games to use the FilteringEnabled option, the game was broken due to a large amount of scripts requiring client-to-client interaction. In turn, the creator announced that he will not be updating the game anymore, and made the game uncopylocked for everyone to use. This has inspired various developers to make their own versions of the game, updated to work after the updates. Some of these even have developers from the original version working on them.
