• All-Star Cast: Nearly all the major actors were already famous names in film and TV, even back in 1993. Patrick Stewart was an icon due to his Star Trek fame, Pierce Brosnan was also a television veteran and in the early days of his very long film career with Mrs. Doubtfire, and GoldenEye was just two years away. Ted Levine was the relative new guy, but even he was already well known from The Silence of the Lambs. Finally, Christopher Lee was the biggest star attached to the film with a 44 year career in film and television.
