- Schedule Slip: The imprint was originally planned to launch in September 2017 with Sideways and The Silencer, but slipped to December 2017, launching with The Immortal Men and Damage. Furthermore, every Dark Matter title was resolicited in February 2018's solicitations... and The Immortal Men #1 was then moved further back to March. The official explanation given is that the Dark Knights: Metal event series launching the line has not yet wrapped up, although the series were originally solicited for release while Metal was still ongoing, so this could be a case of Lying Creator.
- What Could Have Been: It's quite interesting how the Terrifics came to be. Jeff Lemire originally pitched a solo Metamorpho ongoing, but Dan DiDio felt the character cannot hold a book on his own and suggested teaming him up with Plastic Man. Mr. Terrific was added as a serious foil to both of them, at which point Lemire realized similarities to Fantastic Four and just decided to roll with it.
