• What Could Have Been: In an earlier screenplay draft, Devi was named Patty Danger and Stanley Arkoff's last name was originally Bates, and Patty's role was more of a superhero using her voice as a weapon.
• Word of God: In an interview, Robert McGinley said that a sequel would involve William now grown-up as a rock star rebel alongside his mother, falling in love with Chamomile, now a cyborg, and confronting Stanley's oppressive legacy while also being mentored by his digital consciousness.
