• Promoted Fanboy: In late 2020, it came to Neil's attention that a father-and-son duo was covering several of Clutch's songs, and doing a damn good job at it. In response, Neil reached out to the duo asking if they'd like to have him supply vocals on one of these covers; to his surprise, the band presented their own original music, asking if he'd like to supply vocals. While hesitant at first, Neil complied, and The Joy of Homeschooling was born.
