Trivia / Car Escape

• The Danza: According to the credits in the first episode of Car Escape 5, Ping is played by Yongping Hu.
• Dummied Out: Several puzzles and sequences were removed from the Apple Store version (mostly for the better), but you can still see remnants of them in the new version. In Chapter 6, for instance, the extra mid-way picture of the staircase is still there despite the fact that the laser needed to open the box containing the BMW key was removed, making that particular scene pointless. The main character also refers to "taking out all gangsters" which was part of an action scene that was removed from the Mac version.
• Write What You Know: Given that the game uses live-action photography stills and Full Motion Video, and the developer is from the Haidian District of Beijing, it's understandable that the game (and the cars) are distinctly Chinese - for instance, the first car the main character gets trapped in is a 2006 BMW Brilliance Auto BS4, which was only ever sold in China.
