• Dueling Works: HBO Max was filming their own series about Candy Montgomery, Love & Death, starring Elizabeth Olsen, pretty much at the same time as Hulu.
• Fake American: New Zealand native Melanie Lynskey once more plays an American.
• What Could Have Been: In 2020, it was announced that Elisabeth Moss would be playing Candy Montgomery, but had to bow out due to scheduling conflicts and was replaced by Jessica Biel.
