- Creator Recovery: After announcing her retirement from acting, Pauley Perrette stated the show had healed her and restored her faith in the industry, and viewed it as her "last dance".
- Screwed by the Network: Although presented as part of CBS' fall preview, the show was held until April, 2020, extremely late even for a mid-season premiere. By the time the first episode debuted, the heat from the initial push had long died down and the show was canceled in a year when CBS renewed pretty much every other show on its slate.
- Wag the Director: Pauley Perrette made it a condition that her character wear comfortable and practical footwear after having spent the better part of two decades in tall boots with enormous platform soles on NCIS.
