- Channel Hop: Branded was purchased from its producers by King World Productions (of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! fame) in the mid-1980s, and packaged for syndication with fellow King World acquisition The Guns Of Will Sonnett. Both series are now owned by CBS through a long series of mergers.
- I Want You to Meet an Old Friend of Mine: Johnny Crawford, Chuck Connors's co-star from The Rifleman, guest-starred in the episode "Coward, Step Aside".
- Real-Life Relative: Chuck Connors's then-wife, Kamala Devi, appeared in an episode or two.
- Referenced by...: The series was notably mentioned in The Big Lebowski, featuring a fictional writer, Arthur Digby Sellers, as a minor character who is said to have written over 150 episodes (though obviously, the real Branded didn't run nearly as long). In one scene, the Dude sings the intro theme song while drunk.
