Trivia / Blackadder SS 3 Blackadder Back And Forth

Go To

  • Channel Hop: An interesting example. Blackadder: Back & Forth was commissioned to be shown in the specially built SkyScape cinema which was erected close to the Millennium Dome note  on the Greenwich peninsula in South London — which aired it eight times a day throughout the year 2000. As far as broadcasting it on TV was concerned, there was a dispute between Sky (which had put up most of the money) and The BBC (the network which had broadcast every other episode of Blackadder) over who got to broadcast it first. In the event, it was first shown on TV by Sky One in October 2000, and BBC One didn't get to show it until April 2002.
  • What Could Have Been: BRIAN BLESSED!!!!!, Elspet Gray and Robert East were originally going to reprise their roles from the first season. The scene would have been Blackadder and Baldrick arriving at Bosworth Field and killing Henry Tudor with the time machine, however the scene was later changed to Waterloo as Blessed was unable to reprise his role of Richard IV.
