• Promoted Fangirl: Hercrabbiness, who has done Let's Plays of the series, voices Mrs. Roberts in the Deluxe version of Case 2.
• Schedule Slip: There was a four-year gap between the release dates of Case 7 and Case 8, the reason the Case 2 remake was done: while development of Case 8 stalled, Grundislav decided to remake another earlier episode rather than doing nothing. He also worked on some smaller adventure games.
• What Could Have Been: The thug who killed Simon was originally intended to have (off-screen) been hit by a car shortly after he left Ben alone, therefore giving him appropriate Karma.
  • Nine cases were originally planned but Grundislav scrapped one who felt it had a plot not strong enough.
