• What Could Have Been: Laurel Takashima was originally intended to be The Mole, gradually showing her true colors in the course of the first season, until she eventually was to shoot Garibaldi in the back at the end of season one. When Tamlyn Tomita didn't go on the the series proper, those traits were transferred to Jack, Garibaldi´s second, as well as Talia Winters, with her "second personality" in season two. There was, however, meant to be a low-ranking bridge bunny working close to her, a snarky Russian lieutenant named Susan Ivanova. With Takashima gone, she would come to full prominence. As it were, Ivanova got her command role from episode 1, with her promotion to Commander standing in for taking over the job.
• You Look Familiar: Via Retroactive Recognition: One of the Bridge Bunnies is played by Ed Wasser, who would later gain fame amongst the fandom for playing Smug Snake Mr. Morden, one of the show's recurring villains. This led to a theory that he actually was Morden undercover, due to the show's tight continuity, but Word of God outright says it is not the case.
