• Hey, It's That Sound!: The game utilizes a few sound effects from the Monster Rancher series, made by Tecmo prior to their merger with Koei and Gust. For instance, the sound that plays when using a poison on an enemy is the same as the sound that plays when you inflict a status ailment in Monster Rancher.
• No Dub for You: Continuing the trend of previous games, Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland does not have a dub. According to a press event, this was due to the fact that the majority of the players use the Japanese voice option and that cutting back on the English voices sped up the release and saved some money.
