• Older Than They Think: The 2003 edition of Asterix and the Class Act which most people are familiar with is not actually the first version of the book. There was also a 1993 edition, which is less well-known chiefly because it was not translated into English at the time, and the 2003 version is basically a revised and expanded version of that (it adds the introduction, The Birth of Asterix, Asterix As You Have Never Seen Him Before, The Lutetia Olympics and Chanticleerix, the last of which was written especially for the 2003 version).
