• Actor-Shared Background: Akira is presumably Japanese and is voiced by Haruka Kuroda, yes, the voice of Noodle.
• Germans Love David Hasselhoff: The series was very popular in Latin America, particularly in Argentina (where a country-specific dub with local slang was made), and Brazil. It is probably more known in that region than in its native Europe.
• Screwed by the Network: Despite The BBC co-producing the series, its only TV airings were as early-morning filler on BBC Two, and instead it was part of the broadcaster's online Learning section.
• Stillborn Franchise: Mercedes Marro intended to do a follow-up series titled Lara in Be-Tween back in 2015, but no news have come out of it since then.
