• What Could Have Been: Originally, Kanagi’s spot in the story was taken by Mayumi Tomokomaki, the Super High School Level Veterinarian, another character from the author’s first canceled fanfiction. However, the author felt that Mayumi’s character voice was too similar to Kakumi’s, so she was replaced with Kanagi at the last minute.
