Trivia / American Horror Story: Double Feature

• Billing Displacement:
  • Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters are billed first and second in Red Tide, despite the fact that Finn Wittrock and Lily Rabe are easily identifiable as the main characters in this part, particularly for the first few episodes where Paulson and Peters only appear intermittently.
  • In her turn, Lily Rabe is credited second in Death Valley despite only appearing in one episode, in which she showed up in all of three scenes (and only speaking in two of them). By contrast, fellow returning AHS alum Cody Fern is a major presence in the final two episodes but is billed as a guest star.
• What Could Have Been: As with many shows, the COVID-19 Pandemic threw AHS into disarray for a year. One change apparently made was, according to an interview, that the season would have a sex scene between Macaulay Culkin and Kathy Bates, suggesting Bates was to be either TB Karen or Belle Noire. Instead, Bates does not appear at all.
