• Executive Meddling: "Left Hand Free", a blues/garage rock number very much unlike most of their discography, was rumored to be the product of this trope. It is said the band wrote it in 20 minutes flat and tried to make it sound cliched as possible when their record label thought that "Hunger of the Pine" wasn't being popular. In reality, the song was made as the band goofed off while songwriting for This Is All Yours, and it just happened to be what their American label favored the most.
