• Outdated by Canon:
  • The first book was released in 2007, five months after the Deathly Hallows book was published. Inverarity's series were originally intended to be canon-compliant, but later information via J.K. Rowling's Word of God statements and the Fantastic Beasts films blew holes in it. Sure enough, when Inverarity read about Rowling's American wizarding world in 2019, they would declare that Alexandra Quick is no longer canon-compliant.
  • In Alexandra Quick, the protagonist goes to Charmbridge Academy for her education. In canon, it was shown that, had she been born in the Harry Potter universe, she would have attended Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in Massachusetts instead.
